Sunblossom Residency is hosted by Amaanah Refugee Services after school program.
The Amaanah After School Program has 40 refugee students in the program from mostly Burmese background. The students attend Alief ISD middle schools. At the Amaanah After School Program, the students get help in academics through homework help, mentoring, work on English conversational skills, work on projects that help them to think about future career planning, and do creative activities such as art.
